What's in a Name? World of Mathcraft Unveiled

G'day (:

At 'International STEAM Education', our remit stretches far and wide, embracing the entire spectrum of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Yet, when it came to naming one of our flagship products, we settled on the moniker "World of Mathcraft". You might wonder, "Why such a specific focus on Mathematics?"

Enter our T-shaped methodology.

T-shaped methodology Mathematics as the long vertical line of the 'T', representing depth—a foundational knowledge, a universal language. Now, the horizontal top of the 'T'? That embodies breadth, a depth of learning stretching across the other STEAM domains—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Arts.

Our naming wasn't just a play on words. We also drew inspiration from the immensely popular and innovative game, "World of Warcraft". Much like how "World of Warcraft" revolutionised the gaming industry with concepts like "phasing" and its captivating open world, we aim to bring a transformative shift in educational methods. The game's boundless landscapes, character development, and rich lore reminded us of the vast and interconnected world of learning.

Mathematics, in our vision, is the linchpin. It's the tool that connects disparate subjects, turning them into a cohesive learning experience. Mathematics offers a bridge from the rudiments of spelling to the nuances of English reading and writing and even the intricacies of more specialised subjects.

In naming our product "World of Mathcraft", we wanted to encapsulate this idea. The world is vast, varied, and interconnected, much like the realm of Mathematics. It's not just about numbers; it's about understanding the very fabric that weaves our knowledge together.

So, in a nutshell, our product is a journey—a voyage through the vast landscape of learning, anchored firmly in the world of Mathematics.

Cheers,

Byron
