Elandra is a free mathematics homework platform designed for Australian students from grades 3 to 6. Using adaptive learning algorithms, Elandra provides personalised learning experiences to help kids excel in their studies.
The name Elandra is derived from Aboriginal origins, meaning “home by the sea,” reflecting our commitment to nurturing and guiding students in a supportive learning environment.
We use the T-shaped learner approach, where the stem of our T is Mathematics. Building on this foundation, we integrate other curriculums based around STEAM, with the top side of the T encompassing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Arts.
Currently, we support the Victorian State curriculum for Grades 3 and 4, but we are actively expanding to include additional curriculums to broaden our educational reach.
With Elandra, parents and guardians can track their children's progress and actively participate in their learning journey.
Elandra allows you to monitor your child's achievements and offers opportunities to upskill your own mathematics knowledge, enabling joint learning.
Elandra provides carefully designed resources for collaborative and supportive learning. Additionally, it supports multilingual learning, making it accessible and inclusive for families from diverse backgrounds.
For teachers, Elandra provides a dashboard where you can track all students in your class. Using Elandra's calendar view, you can easily click on the day and time to automatically slot in a Victorian Curriculum activity.
For example, at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, you can select "Australian History" and optionally choose a subcategory outcome based on the State Curriculum.
Elandra will then automatically generate interactive learning materials for each student based on their Elandra Grade Level (EGL), ensuring that Mathematics remains at the core of all lessons.
World of Mathcraft (WoMC) offers a unique Guardian Edition, allowing parents or older siblings to support younger learners.
The freemium Guardian Subscription included with each WoMC subscription provides basic support features, while the full Guardian WoMC Subscription unlocks the entire game for collaborative play.
This edition ensures that adult learners can be involved and contribute to the educational journey, making learning a shared and enriching experience for the whole family.
