G'day,
Last year, we touched on the innovative integration of Victorian Government educational standards with the gamified environment of World of Mathcraft. Our vision is centred around the belief that integrating activities like swimming in schools, VicRoads Bike Ed, and early childhood road safety education can create truly immersive learning experiences. Today, we're excited to expand on this foundation and share some new additions that will further broaden the horizons of our young learners.
Clean up Australia: In a bid to instil environmental awareness, we're launching a treasure hunt map. Students can collect trash, learn about environmental conservation, and trade their findings in World of Mathcraft or Elandra for rewards, encouraging a sustainable mindset.
Sustainability Victoria: Our new economy system introduces students to sustainability. By completing in-game tasks and challenges, they can earn points, which can be exchanged for elite in-game items centred around sustainable practices and behaviours.
Renewable Energy Workforce: We're delving deep into the world of renewable energy. Our modules on Elandra will cover topics like Wind, Solar, and Hydroenergy. The knowledge students gain is then tested in customised in-game biomes, where they use their newly-acquired insights to 'survive' and thrive.
Water Safety Education: Using the National Swimming and Water Safety Framework, we've designed engaging modules on Elandra. But here's the twist: students will go on interactive quests instead of conventional tests, making their learning journey more enjoyable and memorable.
Our journey at International STEAM Education is continuously evolving. As we integrate real-world applications and challenges into our platform, we aim to equip students with skills beyond the screen. Stay tuned as we continue transforming the educational landscape, one quest at a time.
